Another cool game from Offscreen Technologies Ltd. is the Chessboard. Very light on the CPU, but has a complete chessboard in it.
There is only one mode of playing. You just hit the play button when the app opens up and that kicks off the game. This is strictly a two player game. So you can not have the pleasure of playing alone with the CPU. You gotta have another player with you.
You get two timers, one for each player. The timer is continuously running and you can stop it by making a move. After this, the timer of the other player starts.
The moves are dynamic. The green dot next to the timer indicates whose turn it is now. And the game can be stopped only by the person in turn now. The person cant end the game. When you try to move a pan, the checks are highlighted for legal moves and are not for illegal. So you dont need to worry about wrong moves.
