Doodle Jump is one of the best and the most addictive games ever created for Mobile Platforms. Doodle Jump is developed by the popular games publisher company GameHouse and is still a top paid app for the iPhone. Doodle Jump won the Best Game Award of 2010 in which Nokia fans chose the winning apps themselves. The game-play itself is extremely simple yet it matches the addictiveness of Angry Birds. The size is about 16mb on the iPhone version, while in the Java version, its even less than 500kb!
Although many features are not present in the Java version, Doodle Jump is still one of the top games for Nokia devices. Had Doodle Jump been of a sis format, it would have been a tremendous hit on the Ovi Store, but most users just ignore Java apps, (including me!) Doodle Jump is certainly an exception, and beats most of the other games because of its simplicity, its popularity and the un-put-down-able quality.
In Doodle Jump, you guide a ‘Doodler’ as it jumps higher and higher on platforms. Just tilt the device in a direction to make the Doodler jump that way, and tap on the screen to kill aliens that come occasionally.You have to avoid weak platforms, balck-holes and UFOs, and each jump gives you more points. If you fall down, its game over, and you’ll find yourself trying to beat your previous record all the time. There is also an online scoreboard to help you keep track of you global position.
