Mobiola Webcam
With this superb application, you can make your S60v5 device into a webcam for your PC, and capture or record your phone’s screen. This way you will be able to make videos of your applications and upload them to Youtube, or video-call on Skype using your phone as a webcam.
There are two applications you have to download and install. One on your PC and the other in your phone.
PC: WEBCAM Open this on PC
Phone: mobiola.webcam.s60.3rd.5th.v3.017 Put it in your phone’s memory card. Rename file to webcam.sis FROM YOUR PHONE. Install by double tapping. Open the application.
Now that both apps are open in PC and phone, choose connection way.
There are three ways to connect phone and PC. Bluetooth, Wifi and USB Cable.
1: Bluetooth (Connect phone to PC via Bluetooth. Choose Bluetooth in both like shown in the image above)
2: WiFi (Choose Wifi in both PC and Phone. Both must be connected to the same WiFi router. Will not work on phones which have no WiFi, like the 5230) The advantage is that you can move your camera around as long as you keep it in range of the WiFi.
3: USB Cable: This does not work!
If you want to show your phone’s screen, select the Screen tab from the app in phone. If you want the Webcam, select the Cam tab. Ask any questions on comments or on the Nokia 5530 Facebook page.
